La Requisa is an old ancestral home converted into a Rural Tourism property for 14 people. The house dates from 1588 and is situated in the Main Square in Pontós – a small village in Alt Empordà. Renovated in 2012, the house continues to be as charming as always.

La Requisa is made up of three separate accommodations:

Noble floor: (first floor). It has two independent bedrooms, one of them is double (with the possibility to add an extra bed) and the other one is triple. They have a bathroom each one, TV and internet connection. The Noble floor is equipped with a kitchen-dining room, a living room with TV, a barbecue, a terrace, and direct access to the swimming pool.

The apartment: (which occupies the top floor of the house and sleeps 7 or 8 people). It has two double bedrooms and a triple bedroom (with the possibility to add another bed), two bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen and dining room. All completely independent from the rest of the house. The bedrooms have TV, internet connection as well as air conditioning.

Lemon Room: Double room with the possibility to add another bed. It has a bathroom and a TV.

All the guest share common elements: games room, garden and swimming pool.

  • • Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms or anywhere inside the house. Smoking is, however, permitted on the terraces, in the garden and by the swimming pool.

  • • Eating alternatives: given that guests at La Requisa have access to a fully –equipped kitchen, we offer a number of options:

    -Lunch and dinner in Can Cassoletes: La Requisa also offers the opportunity to have lunch and/or dinner in this restaurant, just a stone’s throw from the house, in the Main Square. The restaurant has specially prepared a variety of set menus, using local products, for the price of only 15 euros per person (including VAT). (see restaurant)

    -Services of a cook: If you are renting the whole house we can offer the services of a cook. Please don´t hesitate to contact us for more information. Prices vary according to length of stay and number of guests.
